A Secret Towards Achieving Success: Be Real

As humans we live two lifestyles simultaneously on a daily basis. One lifestyle is casual and one is formal. This casual and formal lifestyle does not only mean clothing but reflects every aspect of our lives especially important ones such as our ethics and principles.

When I refer to our casual life what I am referring to is the time you spend away from work, your personal off time. This is the time you spend with your friends and family socializing and relaxing. Even though this is considered relaxed time, one must always be real and true during this time. Our routine activities such as cleaning, shopping, eating, socializing, joking around etc. all must be done with an attitude that reflects who we are.

For example if we are shopping with our family and our kids make demands to us we must approach this in a smart manner. We must look at our kids demands whether they are justified or not and must consider our budget. It is easy to simply say yes or no but there has to be a good reasoning behind you saying yes or no. If you are saying yes then you must explain to your child why they are getting what they are asking for and how they deserve it. If you are saying no then you must explain why you cannot or chose not to buy your child what they are asking for. In either example you must be real and true with yourself and your child.

Even if you say no to your child, if you are able to make them understand why they are being rejected then in the future you will be respected more by your child and they will understand the value of things more. If you are able to implement this kind of thought process in your daily routine life at home and when you are not at work then you will be able to achieve what I like to refer as casual success.

Success in our formal lives or what most would consider their work lives is very different from our casual success. However the one thing that remains the same in both environments is the fact that you have to remain true to yourself and the ones around you. In a work environment you must be willing to work with your colleagues in a true manner. If you feel they are making mistakes you must help them in a sensitive manner which will help them understand what they are doing wrong, instead of just criticizing them and belittling their efforts.

My message today to my readers is that no matter if you are in your formal lives at work or in your casual lives at home the underlining most important fact that will contribute towards your success is you being true to yourself and the ones around you. If you are able to analyze every situation you are in and tackle it with a sincere honest approach, nothing will be able to stop you in your path towards success.

The Key To Success is Positive Thinking and Action

Positive thinking is not something that someone can just start; it is a state of mind that must be achieved. The way to achieve this is through having a good attitude and surrounding yourself with positive energy and positive people. The people you surround yourself is very important because if they have a negative attitude and a negative energy around themselves, this will pass on to you and you will find yourself feeding off their negative energy.

If you are able to give out positive energy and have a positive mindset the people around you will not only notice you more, but will also want to surround themselves with your energy and attitude. This can help in many scenarios especially if you need help from someone. People will prefer to help you if you approach them with a positive attitude and will be less inclined to help you if you have a negative attitude.

One of the keys to having a positive attitude is aiming high and expecting success. When you take upon a challenge you should expect a successful outcome. If you approach all the challenges in your life with this sort of positive attitude you will be sure to succeed more often in the long run. However effective positive thinking requires a solid plan and approach. Positivity is not enough if it is not backed up with good planning and a good mindset that is free of fears and inhibitions.

You can start your journey towards success today. Start getting rid of the negative influences and negative people in your life who are bringing you down and start implanting strong words such as “I can, I am able and it can be done,” to your daily lives.

How to Trust and Believe

Trusting and believing may seem as if they are the same concept, however if a person is able to distinguish between the two it will completely change their lifestyle. When I was a naive teenager I always thought that when you believe or trust in someone it will work the way you want it. But from time to time I learned through trial and error that believing and trusting someone are not only two different concepts but are also not an easy thing to do in this day and age. As I have grown older and more mature I have realised that trust and belief should vary from person to person and only those that are truly deserving should be trusted.

If you meet a stranger, for example a salesperson for a furniture shop, during the conversation you start to believe and trust them that whatever advice he or she is giving is absolutely 100% true. However we must take into factor that at the time the salesperson may be giving you advice that is not completely beneficial for you but rather benifital for them to make a sale. In these kinds of situations one must analyze what the person is saying to you and what are their intentions. If the person seems to have clear intentions at the time then you should believe them however you should not be quick to trust them blindly. If a person is telling you something that is only beneficial for themselves then one should not trust them and should be able to distinguish between those that are worth trusting and those that should not be.

Believing and trusting human beings should be done on a “in the moment” basis. A person may be generally in life a truthful trustworthy person however at certain moments greed and envy may cloud a person judgements. It is your responsibility to be able to identify such moments. One should not have a negative pessimistic approach that no one can be trusted either. In my Holy Book it says that if you find anyone in your whole life even one friend you will be the luckiest person in the whole world. The word friend in this case is someone who you will believe and trust with everything and is someone you believe will not try and trick you or take advantage of your trust. Differentiating between true friends and fake friends is very important because those who you cannot trust can often lead you down the wrong path.

In conclusion I would suggest to my readers that everyone should live in the moment and should deal with people with an open mind. Do not be quick to judge people and at the same time do not be quick to trust someone blindly. If you approach everyone with an open mind and a cautious mind you will find yourself not being let down or being taken advantage of in the future whilst at the same time you will be able to find those that are true to you and are worth your trust.

Best Way to Live Relaxed Life

Forgiveness is a powerful tool. If you allow anger and other negative feelings to crowd out positive feelings, you might find yourself swallowed up by your own bitterness or sense of injustice. But if you can forgive someone who angered you, you might both learn from the situation and strengthen your relationship.

Learning to control anger is a challenge for everyone at times. If your anger seems out of control, causes you to do things you regret or hurts those around you.

Think before you speak

As soon as you're thinking clearly, express your frustration in an assertive but non-confrontational way. State your concerns and needs clearly and directly, without hurting others or trying to control them.

• Take a timeout

• Don’t hold a bitterness

• Use comedy to release tension

• Practice relaxation skills

When your temper flares, put relaxation skills to work. Practice deep-breathing exercises, imagine a relaxing scene, or repeat a calming word or phrase, such as "Take it easy." You might also listen to music, write in a journal or do a few yoga poses — whatever it takes to encourage relaxation.

Lightening up can help diffuse tension. Use humor to help you face what's making you angry and, possibly, any unrealistic expectations you have for how things should go. Avoid sarcasm, though — it can hurt feelings and make things worse.

Importance of Education

In the past few decades people all around the world have started discovering the importance of education. Most people believe that a good education will lead to monetary rewards but most people do not realize that education not only helps people earn money but also helps their personalities. A good strong education will reflect on a person’s personality, their morale’s and their overall character.

In recent times studies have shown that education has a direct co relation with ones well-being and stature in the community. People who have at least a college education are far more likely to find jobs than people who do not have an education. Education not only teaches us basic concepts that we can use in our daily jobs, but it also teaches us how to integrate with society and how to interact in a professional environment. Furthermore education helps to make a person more cultured and helps people deal with people from different cultures from all over the world.

Another way in which education helps is that it instills discipline within a person. In the work environment those people that have an education are more dependable and are usually more organized. These organizational skills are usually learnt during ones further education where the work load increases and students are forced to schedule and divide their time wisely. These skills pass over to the work environment where people use what they have learnt to tackle their daily tasks.

The path to gain education is a path that never ends. A person can seek knowledge and education no matter how old they are and everything new they learn will help them grow as an individual. In our current times the only way the world can strive towards peace and to be a better place is if more and more people seek to become educated. Without education sadly most people will find themselves lagging behind in society and are only harming themselves by not going out to seek education.
